Avid Media Composer Effects & Techniques

 

This two-day course focuses on designing multilayered and multinested effects on Avid Media Composer for maximum quality and optimal render time. Hands-on exercises help students create and combine effects to achieve real-world results. Topics include: effect shortcuts and tips, advanced keyframing, nesting and keying, render time reduction, working with chroma keys and matte keys, using Avid Media Composer’s Paint and AniMatte effects, and effect media management. This course is also relevant for Avid Symphony users.

Prerequisites: Students should have completed MC101 Introduction to Avid Media Composer or equivalent experience. They should also have several months experience on the Avid Media Composer system.

Weekend intensives are from 10am-6pm.
